PROJECT
Convert AI created imagery into vector images compliant with print, silkscreen, and patch manufacturing requirements. While I was initially offended they would rather put their trust in AI to create these images, it was a play on how ‘bad’ AI still is at figuring everything out. Specifically, text. I had to go in and augment all of the text to be aligned with their specific requirements and setup each file for the different ways it was going to be used to create conference swag.


ABOUT
BSides started as a small gathering of people who gathered to attend some of the rejected presentations from Black Hat USA in 2009. The movement grew out of a desire to remove barriers of entry and create a community of active participants. We believe that building a strong, welcoming, local community makes it easier for everyone to participate in the security community and enables great things. This movement has now grown to 715 BSides events in 197 cities spanning 55 countries, and the number of events continues to grow as participants realize they can create a community anywhere in the world.

While every BSides event is unique and independently run, all are committed to being a community-organized, volunteer-driven, and corporately-funded forum for expanding the spectrum of information security conversation.

BSides Vancouver was first held in 2013 and grew to draw in 700+ attendees before COVID slowed things down. After a few years of virtual conferences, we're excited to be back in person to share another great conference with everyone!

I am passionate about design, branding, and the internet.

In university, I learned how to learn. I now take that mentality and apply it to each new project I join. I have a strong background in organization and design. I am university educated and have almost fifteen years of experience working with companies large and small. I deviated from the corporate structure in 2015 to build more meaningful business relationships as a contractor. To me, working with businesses to achieve their goals is more impactful than sitting at a desk day after day.

Creating an enriched experience for customers and clients in real life is not always the same as in the digital world and with social media. Sometimes, often, it is difficult to know how to translate your values and brand online. That's where I can help you. The trick is to ensure all branding, visualizations, and messaging has the same tone and direction. Cohesion.

That's why a clear vision of your brand is essential. It all starts with your brand. And then, all your decisions, whether online or offline, have to connect and jive with your brand and how you portray it online and off.
